Ingredients
Scale
- 450 g (1 lb) ground beef (80/20 fat content)
- 450 g (16 oz) pasta (penne, rigatoni, or shells)
- 240 ml (1 cup) heavy cream
- 60 g (½ cup) Parmesan cheese, grated
- 3–4 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley or basil, chopped
- 15 ml (1 tbsp) olive oil
- ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- ½ cup (120 ml) beef or chicken broth
- 1 tbsp butter
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
Instructions

- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spatula. Drain excess fat if needed.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream and broth, then bring to a simmer.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese and butter, mixing until the sauce is smooth. Season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss until well coated in the creamy sauce.
- Garnish with fresh parsley or basil and serve immediately.
Notes
For extra creaminess, use more Parmesan or add a tablespoon of butter. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat on low heat with a splash of cream to maintain texture
